Surgical Services at Pulaski

Surgical Services provides inpatient and outpatient surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic services in the greater Southwest Virginia area.

Surgeons affiliated with Pulaski  perform major and minor surgeries include the following:

trauma	ENT	vascular
general	oral	urology
orthopedic	podiatry	laparoscopy
ophthalmology		laser procedures

Endoscopy Services provides bronchcoscopy, colonscopy, EGDs, and endoscopic ultrasound services.  Conscious sedation is provided for these procedures as needed.

Ambulatory Care Services provides consultations by physicians, the dietary department, the physical therapy department, etc.  The department also provides conscious sedation, pre, and post care for radiological procedures, lumbar punture, pain therapy, blood transfusions, newborn circumcision, cardioversions, and other minor procedures.

Central Sterile Services receives, decontaminates, reprocesses, sterilizes, stores and delivers supplies and instrument trays to various locations throughout the hospital.

Hours of Operation

Ambulatory Care Services	6:30 am - 7:30 pm	Monday-Friday (Weekend coverage for procedures scheduled by Friday.)
Post Anesthesia Care Unit	8:00 am - 4:30 pm	Monday-Friday (with 24 hour call coverage)
Endoscopy	7:00 am - 3:30 pm	Monday-Friday (with 24 hour call coverage)
Operating Room	7:00 am - 3:30 pm	Monday-Friday (with 24 hour call coverage)
Central Sterile Services	6:00 am - 4:30 pm	Monday-Friday
